Asian history, and history in general, is very important for multiple reasons. One reason is that learning the history helps you understand the people who live there. This in turn helps you understand the world as a whole. History also teaches us lessons. We learn from the mistakes and successes of people throughout history. History also makes for great literature. When studying a different history or culture it is important to have an open mind. It is sometimes a tendency of people to judge other people, but this can lead to false assumptions and misinterpretation.
